Everyone has a fear of something in their life. For instance, it could be a fear of failing, driving, death, and simply fearing life itself. We are human, so it is ok to have fears because no one is perfect. However, it is not ok to let your fears control your entire life.
I know, it can be difficult to keep on pushing through no matter what life throws at you. There are people out in the world who have so many fears that no one knows about. Some people may even believe those sickening lies that fear tells them – “You are not good enough. You are worthless. People are disagreeing with how you do things. You will always suffer from anxiety.” Those thoughts could go on forever.
If you have heard some of those thoughts pop up in your mind before or even constantly, it is up to you to knock down every single one of them. You are able to do it and I believe in you.

The struggle is real. Conquering your fears is going to take a lot of time and patience. I know, it is hard to not listen to that repulsive voice inside your head that tells you all of those lies.
I understand because fear has taken control of my life before. For instance, I used to be horrified of driving, since I had the fear of dying from a car accident. That would always be my fear and because of that, I ended up receiving my driver’s license at the age of eighteen. To this day, I still struggle, but I have improved so much.
I am telling you this because I have fears just like you and I’m far from perfect. Living with fears is hard. Conquering your fears is not easy. Choose your hard.
I have been loving the place I am at in life right now and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I am thankful God blessed me with Kylie’s Corner and now this blog, in fact, writing has helped improved my anxiety by a lot!
If you struggle with fear taking over your life, please take the time to listen to “The Breakup Song” by Francesca Battistelli. It is one of her new songs!
Honestly, when I first read the title of the song, my first thought was: “Oh, it is a typical Taylor Swift kind of song.” Boy, was I wrong. The song isn’t a basic breakup song about a relationship that went wrong, it is more about breaking up with Fear!
“Fear, you don’t own me. There ain’t no room in this story and I ain’t got time for you telling me what I’m not like you know me well guess what? I know who I am. I know I’m strong, brave and I am free. Got my own identity. So fear, you will never be welcome here.” -Francesca Battistelli
Today, is the time you make the decision to “breakup” with fear. Do not let fear control your life. You have to start somewhere.
Do not give in to those lies you tell yourself. You are better than that.
God tells you, you are worthy. You are worth so much to Him.
He says, do not let those people who look down on you to get in your way. Who cares if people disagree with you. Everyone has different opinions and you will find individuals who loves you for you. They will build you up, instead of bringing you down.
God loves you and you will overcome your fears. Believe in yourself.
It is time to stand up to fear.

Amen!!!! So very true! Its time to breakup with fear for once and for all! I think I’m conquering my fear of heights, somewhat! Slowly but surely 😀 and I still have a MAJOR fear of the sea! 😦 but I know I will overcome one day in Jesus’ Name!
This was definitely an inspirational booster! Blessings & peace always!
