Trying to Keep Your Head Above Water
He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.

Have you ever felt like you were trying to keep your head above water with all of your might? Isn’t it exhausting? During that time of your life, did it feel like you were just going through the motions – routine after routine every. single. day.?

Keeping Your Head Above Water

As it gets closer to the Fall semester coming to a close, I have been feeling this way where I am struggling to keep my head above water. It is a struggle. There are so many exams, assignments, and projects coming at me all at once! It seems like everything has been flying by so fast that I can’t even catch a breath. Life is just flying by, it feels like we have just been through October-December last year, how are we in those months again!? Is that just me?

College Life

I am not complaining because I cannot wait until this semester is finally over! I really want to do more things with this blog on my Christmas break since I hardly have time to write multiple blog posts instead of doing two a week. College does get in the way at times and I am trying my best to always put out blog posts for y’all!

You’re Not Alone

Anyways, what do you do when you feel the pressure of everything weighing down on you? Do you find it difficult to catch a breath and come up from water? I want you to know that you’re not alone because just from the previous two paragraphs, you are able to tell that I struggle with this too. Do you know who will save us when we are trying the best we can to keep our heads above water?

God Will Save You-2

Yes, God will save us! He is reaching out His hand and saying, “My Child, let me save you. You don’t have to go through this alone. If you trust Me, then reach out your hand above the water and I will bring you out of the deep waters.”

Trust God

God is not going to let you drown. He is going to rescue you when you need Him the most. Call out to Him when you are in the dark and He will be by your side guiding you to the light. God will always be there for you in times of need and He will listen to you.

God Loves You.

If you haven’t heard this today, I want you to know that God loves you and He will do anything to save you. Whatever you are going through right now, it will end soon because God is by your side taking you through it. It will all pass and the pain you are feeling right now, won’t last forever. A huge blessing is coming your way.

Do You Have Any Prayer Requests?

Also, if would like for me to pray for whatever you are battling with, I have a prayer request form on the blog. I would love to pray for you and don’t worry, it is anonymous!

Please listen to “Head Above Water” by Avril Lavigne. It is such a beautiful song, I encourage everyone to listen to it!

“God, keep my head above water. Don’t let me drown, it gets harder. I’ll meet you there at the altar.” -Avril Lavigne
