The purpose of the Kylie's Corner & More blog is to help people with their struggles and lead them more closer to God. I believe we need to Jesus back into this world and it will only get worse without Him. We are Children of God. If you are struggling with anything, I have a prayer request page on my blog and I would love to pray for you.
An Open Letter To The One Who Struggles With Anxiety
Does anyone here battle with anxiety every single day? Are you constantly finding yourself worrying about the future? Do you feel like you can’t fully be your own self because of it? This blog post is specifically for you.
I have chosen Matthew 6:26 for a reason. The story behind it fits perfectly for those who have anxiety, I can also benefit from it.
Matthew 6:25-34 starts off by God telling us not to worry about when our next meal will be and the clothes we put on our backs. It says, “life is more important than food. And the body is more important than clothes” (Matthew 6:25). The story in the Bible goes on and talks about the birds. Have you noticed that birds don’t harvest their food or store it in a safe place like other animals do? God provides food for the birds to eat; He does the same for us! He said we are worth so much more than the birds.
I love this next quote…
“You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it.” -Matthew 6:27
Yes, preach! This is such an important thing to learn in your life and I will be talking about it in the open letter.
God also references the flowers when He talks about worrying about clothes. He explained how the flowers don’t work or create clothes for them. Sounds silly, I know! But, you’re missing the point behind it. The point is that God created flowers and like the birds, they don’t worry about when their next feeding will be or what they need. God says that we shouldn’t focus on what we will eat or wear. Let me tell you, God will always provide for us!
You may have an obsession with purchasing the latest trends in the fashion world or different things that claim you will lose so much weight.
Matthew 6:32 says, “All the people who don’t know God keep trying to get these things.”
God knows what we need, He knows. He wants us to focus on things above, which is being prepared to enter His Kingdom and doing the things God asks. If we do that, the things we ask for will be given to us.
Lastly, the story ends with Matthew 6:34.
“So don’t worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough troubles of its own. Tomorrow will have its own worries.”
Matthew 6:34 is what we all need to learn, especially those who struggle with anxiety. I am one of them. Let’s get into this Open Letter To Those Who Struggle with anxiety. If you came to read this blog post because you have anxiety, I am praying for you. I hope this letter calms you and gives you reassurance.
My Sweet friend, you aren’t alone.
You’re not the only one who struggles with anxiety.
I know every single day is a battle for you.
You feel like giving up.
You tend to avoid any social gatherings as much as possible.
You’re afraid to say the wrong things.
Your heart is beating fast,
It is hard to catch your breath,
You don’t like being in a crowded room,
Your anxiety feels like a huge elephant is weighing down on your chest,
You feel like something is wrong with you
As if you’re not “normal.”
You don’t want to be a problem to anyone,
So you don’t say anything about it at all.
Somedays you don’t feel like yourself.
You keep wondering what’s wrong with you.
“Why am I like this?”
You always want to be left alone.
You don’t want to be a burden to others.
You rethink everything.
You apologize, even when it’s not your fault.
You’re so hard on yourself.
If this is you,
Take a moment and place your hand on your heart.
Do you feel that?
Your heart is beating,
You’re alive.
My Sweet friend, you matter so much to God.
I know it is difficult to live your life freely when you have anxiety.
I know the struggle.
I know you’re hurting.
I know one day you hope to break the chains of your anxiety.
My sweet friend, you are such a fighter.
You’re going to be okay.
God wants you to not worry about what is coming next.
That is for only God to worry about.
Take a deep breath in,
And breath out.
You will get through this.
My Sweet friend, keep fighting your battles.
Even if it is difficult to keep going,
Please don’t give up.
Don’t worry about tomorrow will bring.
Focus on one day at a time.
You can do it.
God won’t let go of you,
He won’t ever leave your side.
He is fighting your battles with you.
Honestly, I believe God gives anxiety to special people.
Special people who keep on fighting no matter what comes their way.
He knows those people can conquer anything they put their minds to.
Special people who are spirituality minded.
This is because they can see what others cannot see.
These special people have the ability to feel the emotions of people around them.
My Sweet friend, you’re one of those special people.
When you find the time, please listen to “Let It Happen” by United Pursuit. I chose this specific song for those of you with anxiety. I know how hard it is to try to live your life because I also have anxiety. It comes and goes sometimes. I hope this song will help you learn to just “Let It Happen” in your life. See what I did there?!
“You’re full of life now. You’re full of passion. That’s how He made you. Just let it happen. And He calls each one of us by our names to come away. And He whispers to your heart to let it go and to be a light.”
I hope this blog post has helped you with your anxiety and inspired you. In case you missed it, I wrote another open letter before this one for those who feel unlovable. I encourage you to check it out here, thank you so much for reading!

It’s so hard to let go. It’s like we actually think we can control something by worrying. Oh me of little faith…
