As I was reading the Bible on the Bible App, I stumbled across 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 and I created this image on the app!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

When I read this Bible Verse, I felt God comforting me.

We can’t comfort other people if we don’t come to God to comfort us first.

When we are comforted by God, we are at peace with everything while we are in the storm. We place everything into God’s hands and refuse to take things out of His hands.

Life is crazy and sometimes it can get so overwhelming.

You might feel lost.

You might feel scared.

You might feel like you’re stuck and you will always be in this situation.

It is going to be better soon, please keep telling yourself that.

It’s going to get better.

God is going to get out of this situation you are in.

There is always a reason behind why God places you in a difficult situation.

When we feel lost and all alone, that is when God comforts us the most.

We might feel like He is not here during our most darkest moments, but He is and He is always with us through the good and the bad.

He knows everything that is going to happen before it happens.

He knows every single time you have cried. He has counted every single one of your tears.

I truly believe when we going through such a dark time, we grow so much closer to God because in the darkest times, we need God more than ever to get us through whatever it is.

Ever since this pandemic started, we all have been experiencing different things and emotions. This pandemic has impacted every single person in the world in a different way. I think no one has ever experienced what this world is going through like ever before. I haven’t even experienced this before and it’s so mindblowing to me because who would have thought this would be happening?

We can choose to look at the world and be scared of everything that is going on in it or we can look to God and have Him comfort us through these darkest times.

Satan wants us to be scared. He wants us to be afraid and fear every little thing. He puts fear into our minds. He is the one who causes anxiety in people and even depression. He tells people things that aren’t even true and guess what? He is persuasive to the point people believe these thoughts satan tells them!

When you focus on God and build a close relationship with Him, you will know when satan is telling you these lies and you won’t even believe them because you know who God says you are.

You know you are a Daughter of the King.

You know you are the Son of the King.

You know your worth in God.

With you knowing that, satan isn’t going to get to you.

When you feel the comfort of God, all the pain you are feeling will disappear and you will feel so loved by God.

When you are comforted by God, that is all you need in order to get through whatever you are going through.

God is always with you and He’s here for you in times of trouble. It will get better.

When you find the time, please listen to “Defender” by Francesca Battistelli.

“You go before I know
That You’ve even gone to win my war
Your love becomes my greatest defense
It leads me from the dry wilderness

And all I did was praise
All I did was worship
All I did was bow down, oh
All I did was stay still

Hallelujah, You have saved me
So much better Your way
Hallelujah, great Defender
So much better Your way

You know before I do
Where my heart can seek to find Your truth
Your mercy is the shade I’m living in
And You restore my faith and hope again”

I added a new page to this blog and I encourage all of you to check it out! For those of you who are new here, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) in December of 2019. I have been documenting everything that I have been through and experienced – from discussing my symptoms before I knew what was wrong, all the way to what I am doing now to help my body. My goal is to balance my hormones naturally without taking birth control. I want to give other women with PCOS hope that birth control isn’t the only option. All of the details about My PCOS journey Pinterest board can be found here.
