Since the month of September is all spreading awareness of PCOS, every Friday on the blog will be something health related for this entire month!

Today we are going to talk about the importance of taking care of your body.

God created each of us until we were perfect in His eyes.

He created all of our little features until He thought they were perfect.

If we hate something about ourselves, it’s like hating the Author’s masterpiece.

Even if we don’t take good care of our bodies, it’s like we don’t care that God created them for us.

Your body is so valuable.

You only have one to take care of.

You have one shot at it.

Why don’t we take care of our health?

Why don’t we try our best to be an advocate for ourselves?

I have learned that when it comes to taking care of your health, no one is going to do it for you. It has to be up to you if you are going to take action by going to the Doctor when something doesn’t seem right.

It’s up to you to get your skin checked every year just to be sure that nothing unusual has popped up on your skin.

It’s up to you if you rather eat healthy or feed your body food that isn’t the best for your health.

We make these choices daily and each choice we make will all add up one day.

You can choose to wait until another month passes to do something about it, but I don’t advise you to do that.

You need to take action now instead of waiting to see if it will happen again the next month.

That’s what I did when I felt like something was wrong with my body before I got diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I waited to see if the throwing up on the first day of my period happened again for the next month. I don’t know why I waited for so long to go to the Doctor. I guess I was scared and I didn’t want to know what was wrong, but I took that leap because I knew I had to take care of my body no matter if it was good or bad.

I have learned that if you keep on waiting and waiting and tell yourself that you will just wait to do anything about it until next month if it happens again. Do you know what? The process of just putting it off until next month will keep on happening and things are just going to keep getting worse.

If anything is worrying you, you need to take that leap by taking action right away and telling your Doctor about whatever it is.

When you do this, you are taking action for your health! Like I have said, no one can do it for you other than you because it is your body and it’s up to you if you want to take care of your health or just let things get worse. Don’t wait until it gets worse.

If you don’t do this already, start taking action for your health.

Make those appointments that scare you on the inside and don’t look back.

Start demanding answers until someone listens to you.

If a Doctor doesn’t want to listen to you or is refusing to help you, go look for a different Doctor until you find someone who will truly listen to you and will help you with all your needs – there are Doctors out there who will take the time to listen to you, you just have to look harder to find them!

Don’t stop fighting for your health and body – it is worth the fight.

You need to do the best you can to take care of your body.

Your body is so worth it to God, why isn’t it worth it to you?

Once you do receive the answers you have wanted, all of it will be so worth it and you will feel so proud of yourself for being an advocate for your health!

Your body is so precious to God and you should feel the same way about your body.

You should be doing the best you can to get the help it needs, so you can still be healthy.

Trust me, all of the fighting for your health and demanding answers will all be worth it in the end.

Keep fighting. You are a fighter. You are strong. You can do this!

When you find the time, please listen to “This Body Is Your Temple” by Matt and Joanna Black.

“For all that You’ve done, the least I can do is offer up this life, a living sacrifice. Holy and acceptable to you. So much you have given, I know much is required, so I surrender my will and I surrender my desire in love. My devotion is true. I want to glorify You. This body is a temple.”

I am so excited to recommend products that I love so much to the Kylie’s Corner & More family! The only products I have so far is the Hope necklace and natural makeup products. I want to point out that I will receive a small commission if you order anything from Salted Avenue or 100% Pure when you shop through my links. I want to always be transparent and honest to you guys. You will be supporting me when you purchase something through the link below. I truly appreciate you for supporting me and even if you don’t purchase anything, I still appreciate you so much. This blog wouldn’t be the same without you here!

For those of you who are new here, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) in December of 2019. I have been documenting everything that I have been through and experienced – from discussing my symptoms before I knew what was wrong, all the way to what I am doing now to help my body. My goal is to balance my hormones naturally without taking birth control. I want to give other women with PCOS hope that birth control isn’t the only option. All of the details about My PCOS journey Pinterest board can be found here.

  1. This is a reason I won’t have anymore tattoos. Aside from feeling conviction, I don’t own myself. I am not my own. If Jesus is my Lord, then He calls the shots for my body. So, obedience is taking care of yourself!
